Travel Master Adventure (TMA) | Manali
The Spiti and Leh bike expedition policy applies to both destinations and all fixed departure motorcycle tours operated by Travel Master Adventure. These are high-altitude Himalayan expeditions, not regular leisure holidays. Although summer is considered the most stable riding season, the route still remains unpredictable. Therefore, landslides, weather changes, road diversions, water crossings, union restrictions, mechanical stress, and operational adjustments may arise at any time. For this reason, the following payment, cancellation, health, damage, and operational terms apply strictly to every participant travelling to Spiti or Leh with TMA.
(TMA Fixed Departure Motorcycle Tours – Spiti & Leh)
Because Himalayan summer inventory is limited and demand is high for both Spiti and Leh departures, the payment structure is fixed and non-negotiable.
| Stage | Payment Amount | Timeline | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stage 1: Slot Block | Booking Amount (Fixed) | At booking | Seat confirmation and hotel blocking (Non-Refundable) |
| Stage 2: Confirmation | 50% of Total Package Cost | 45 Days Before Departure | Hotels, support vehicle, permits and crew allocation |
| Stage 3: Full Settlement | 100% of Total Package Cost | 21 Days Before Departure | Final room allocation, bike planning and operational clearance |
Cancellation charges for both Spiti and Leh bike expeditions are calculated on the total package cost.
Spiti routes may involve landslides, slush, broken mountain roads, water crossings, Kunzum side restrictions, and weather-led rerouting. Consequently, TMA reserves full rights to modify route flow, halt points, overnight stays, or sightseeing order when operational safety demands it.
Leh and Ladakh routes may involve high passes, sudden weather shifts, military or civil restrictions, local union rules, route closure windows, and permit-related adjustments. Therefore, TMA may revise the itinerary, movement plan, support structure, or stay locations whenever required.
Refundable Security Deposit: ₹10,000 per motorcycle (payable before bike handover as per current operational requirement).
Damage includes but is not limited to accidental falls, broken levers, clutch burn due to improper riding, bent rims, crash guard damage, broken lights, handlebar misalignment, or engine damage caused by negligent riding or improper water crossings.
Damage charges are calculated as Original Spare Parts MRP + Labour Charges. Normal wear and tear will be handled by TMA. However, any damage caused by negligent riding, overspeeding, stunt riding, ignoring ride-leader instructions, or reckless use remains the rider’s responsibility.
Both Spiti and Leh are high-altitude destinations. Riders may travel between approximately 12,000 and 18,000 feet depending on route design. Therefore, altitude remains a serious factor throughout the expedition.
If a rider develops Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), is advised by medical personnel not to continue, or voluntarily withdraws from the expedition, return transport, hotel, evacuation, or alternate logistics costs must be borne by the rider. Additionally, no refund for unused services will be provided.
TMA reserves the right to discontinue participation of any rider on medical, safety, or behaviour grounds.
An original valid Driving License with motorcycle-with-gear endorsement is mandatory for both Spiti and Leh expeditions. Without a valid original driving licence, the motorcycle will not be issued.
Government ID proof must also be carried in original form. Permit-related travel, check-post verifications, and operational screening may require it during the journey.
Failure to provide valid documents will be treated as a last-minute cancellation. Therefore, a 100% cancellation charge will apply.
Mountain weather is beyond operator control. Therefore, road closures, snowfall on passes, landslides, floods, political restrictions, protests, mechanical delays due to terrain, medical delays, army movement restrictions, or administrative orders may affect the expedition.
Under such conditions, TMA may alter the itinerary, skip a section, hold movement, shorten the tour, extend a halt, or use an alternative route. In such cases, no refund, compensation, or liability claim will arise for missed sightseeing, delayed movement, or altered plans.
Both Spiti and Leh departures are serious Himalayan riding experiences. Therefore, participants should travel with realistic expectations, physical preparation, and a professional expedition mindset.
By transferring the booking amount, the participant confirms full acceptance of these Spiti and Leh bike expedition policy and terms, including payment rules, cancellation structure, health clauses, damage responsibility, and operational conditions, without exception.
