Beginning in the lush green meadows of Jibhi, the route crosses the scenic Jalori Pass and enters the dramatic, arid landscapes of Kinnaur and Spiti Valley. As you ride through high mountain passes and winding roads, you’ll encounter tribal villages, ancient monasteries, and snow-capped Himalayan peaks.
The highlight of this Spiti bike expedition is the ride to the breathtaking Chandratal Lake, known for its surreal beauty and pristine camping experience. On the return, cross the mighty Kunzum Pass and descend into Manali, completing a loop that blends natural wonder with deep cultural immersion.

Arrive at the designated pick-up point in Manali to collect your bikes and begin your ride.
Start your journey by heading towards the Aut Tunnel and dive into the lush Tirthan Valley.
Cruise along the Tirthan River, passing quaint hamlets like Bali Chowki and Banjar.
After a scenic 3-hour ride, you’ll arrive at the tranquil village of Jibhi.
Check into your stay and enjoy the peaceful vibe.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing or strolling around the village.

Kickstart the day with breakfast and gear up for the road to Kalpa.
Conquer the thrilling Jalori Pass and continue your ride alongside the Sutlej River.
Ride past stunning landscapes and charming towns like Rampur Bushahr and Sarahan.
Enter the beautiful Kinnaur Valley and make your way through Karcham and Reckong Peo.
Reach Kalpa, a picturesque town famous for its views of Kinner Kailash.

After breakfast, mount up and ride to Chitkul—the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border.
En route, pass the serene village of Rakcham and ride alongside the enchanting Baspa River.

Later, head back towards Sangla.

Resume the ride to Tabo and explore the ancient Tabo Monastery upon arrival.

First, visit Key Monastery—Spiti’s largest and most iconic monastery.
Then, ride to Chicham Bridge, Asia’s highest suspension bridge.
Continue on to Komic—the world’s highest motorable village.
Drop by Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office—send a postcard from here!
Wrap up with a visit to Langza, famous for ancient marine fossils and the towering Buddha statue.
Return to Kaza for the night.

Pass through scenic villages like Rangrik, Pangmo, and Losar.

Begin your final day with breakfast at the campsite.
Ride through Batal, Chhatru, and Koksar en route to the Atal Tunnel.
Cross through the tunnel to enter the lively Solang Valley.

The ideal time for a Spiti bike expedition is June to September. During these months, roads are open, the weather is relatively stable, and high mountain passes like Kunzum La are accessible.
You need a bike with good torque and ground clearance. We recommend:
