What information should I share in my first enquiry?+
Share dates, number of people, trip duration, starting city (Delhi/Chandigarh/Manali) and your plan (bike/taxi/full package). Also mention must-visits like Atal Tunnel, Sissu, Kasol, Spiti or Leh — then we suggest a practical plan quickly.
Can I book only bikes or taxis without a full package?+
Yes. You can rent bikes/scooties via ManaliRentals.in, book Taxi Service in Manali, or choose a full package only if you want hotels + transport + planning bundled.

What bikes and scooters are available on rent?+
Options include Himalayan 450/411, Classic/Meteor/Hunter/Scram 350, Harley X440 (limited), and scooters like TVS NTorq 125. Vehicles are serviced before handover; helmets and basic toolkit are provided.
What documents do I need to rent a bike in Manali?+
Indian riders: valid two-wheeler licence + Govt ID. International riders: motorcycle licence + IDP + passport/visa. Originals are verified at handover with a refundable security deposit.
Do you allow bikes for Spiti / Leh long routes?+
Yes for selected models and routes. Deposits and terms vary by route and season. Share your full plan first — we’ll recommend the right bike and honest route guidance.

What kind of taxi services do you provide from Manali?+
Local sightseeing (Hadimba, Club House, Naggar, Jana), Atal Tunnel/Solang/Sissu/Keylong (as per road), plus one-way/round trips to Kasol, Manikaran, Dharamshala, Dalhousie, Amritsar and more.
Do I need a 4×4 in winter for snow points?+
On heavy snow days, 4×4 may be required beyond certain points. We track road status + police/union rules and tell you clearly whether sedan/SUV is enough or 4×4 is needed.
Can you arrange long taxi tours from Chandigarh/Delhi?+
Yes. We arrange Chandigarh/Delhi pickups, multi-day Himachal tours, and family/honeymoon itineraries with a dedicated driver. Share arrival details + drop point, we plan the rest.
Himachal tours, Winter Spiti & Leh–Spiti expeditions
Full packages with route design, stays, timing and on-ground coordination.
What is the best time for Leh–Spiti bike trip?+
Usually June to mid-October, when high passes are open and roads are more stable. We still plan buffers based on weather and altitude.
How many days are needed for Leh–Spiti expedition?+
Most itineraries are 9–12 days depending on route and acclimatisation. Share your total holiday window; we’ll suggest a realistic plan.
Can international travellers book with you?+
Yes. We handle airport–Manali logistics, clear itineraries, and guidance on altitude/weather. Communication is comfortable in English and we share everything clearly before booking.
Payments, deposits & cancellations
We discuss terms before advance payment so there are no surprises.
How do I confirm a booking?+
After itinerary + quote finalisation, we share advance payment details. Once advance is received, bikes/taxis/hotels are blocked and confirmation is sent on WhatsApp/email.
Are security deposits refundable?+
Yes, refundable after trip completion subject to vehicle condition, fines, and accessories return. Deposit depends on model and route; we tell you clearly before confirmation.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Depends on booking type and notice period. Earlier cancellations generally have better refund options. Any non-refundable hotels/permits are informed before payment.
Documents, fitness & safety on Himalayan routes
For high altitude routes like Spiti/Leh/Zanskar, planning and safety matter.
Is a motorcycle licence mandatory for Leh–Spiti?+
Yes. Indian riders need a valid two-wheeler licence. International riders should carry their home licence plus IDP. Without this, riding isn’t allowed.
What fitness level is required for high-altitude tours?+
You should be reasonably fit for 5–8 hours travel some days and high altitude breathing. If you have health concerns, tell us early so we can plan a slower itinerary.
Is it safe for first-timers or solo riders?+
Many first-timers travel with us. For safer trips we plan realistic distances, buffer days and (for guided expeditions) backup support options. For absolute beginners, we may recommend an easier Himachal circuit first.
